I have an overwhelming amount of tinned pineapple in my pantry that I need to get rid of, so I wanted to try something a little different than just my standard homemade pizzas!
I wasn't sure how this recipe was going to go, but it turned out amazing! Best part is, you can use whatever you have at home & a few pantry staples!
Ingredients
- 2 cups self raising flour
- 1 egg whisked
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 400g pasta sauce (you can use any kind)
- Salt/pepper
- 1/2 cup grated cheese + more for the top
Your choice of fillings - I did spinach, bacon, salami, onion, garlic & topped with tinned pineapple!
Method
- Combine flour, egg, olive oil, pasta sauce & fillings into a bowl
- Season with salt, pepper & your choice of herbs (the pasta sauce I used had herbs through it already so I didn't need to add any extra)
- Spoon into a lined muffin tray
- Top with tinned pineapple (optional) & extra grated cheese
- Bake in the oven on 180 for approx 15-20mins
